The PowerMyth Index

Build power literacy to fight social inequity.

Why does poverty still exist? Or homelessness? Discrimination?

If these social issues could be solved by disentangling the policies that perpetuate them, idk, couldn't they be fixed by now? If billionaires and evil demons were the cause, couldn't the rest of the people revolt? It almost seems like there's an invisible, eternal force hell-bent on maintaining certain divisions in society.

To understand why inequity persists, we need to understand why we accept it as a part of life.

What people can or can't do. What they think is possible or normal. What they don't think about and hold as unquestioned truths. These boundaries are shaped by diverse forms of power. If we develop a more holistic view of how power functions, then we're more equipped to reshape those boundaries. That's the goal of the PowerMyth Index.

  • Identify patterns of domination!
  • Question everything you've ever known!
  • Learn epic things in a simple format!

The goal is basically to have an accessible library centered on power. Read one page or twenty!

Anyway, please note that this is all a work in progress... so please be nice to me :) ENJOY!!
